Bernstine: "Football comes naturally to me. Not to say that I don't have anything to work on, but it's a natural talent. I love to hit. I have good range and try to be a leader on the field. I'm physical and play real hard nosed, but I still want to improve my footwork and reading the quarterback. I also want to work on my hand coordination. Some schools said I could play running back or receiver, but my main position is safety."
Partial senior season stats (3-1): 300 yards rushing/five touchdowns. 8 tackles/2 interceptions/95-yard kick return for a touchdown.
