| Best used in run blocking, McDermott is quick for a center off the ball with great contact and is used as a primary block as opposed to simply helping with seals and double-teaming through the main point of attack. Quick enough to be able to pull, McDermott does have a tendency to get tall (tall for 6-2) in pass protection. |
