A national record holder in track and field, Anderson on the gridiron set a single-game area and City Section record with six touchdown receptions, and a school record with 304 yards receiving in a non-conference victory this season. For the year, he racked up appx. 1,100 yards with 10 TDs on 40 receptions, with another 129 yards and TD on 12 carries.
Shattered the 22-year old record in the 300 meter hurdles, with a blazing 35.28 seconds -- the fastest time ever run by a prepster in the USA. His next-closest competitor in the finals finished 40 meters behind him.
His junior year, he had 20 receptions for 367 yards playing receiver opposite All-American Jamere Holland for Woodland Hills (Calif.) Taft. Scored five touchdowns through the air for the Toreadors.
One of the top hurdlers in the nation as an underclassmen. Finished second in California in the 110h (14.30) and 300h (36.75) in 2006. Ranked in the top 10 nationally for the 300h. |
