| Mitchell could be an elite receiver if he stayed on offense, but he is destined for the secondary, which is the perfect place for him to use his serious hitting ability. Once he gets you in his hands, the play is over. He has great hands, which is why he's an effective receiver. |

| One of the best two-way prospects in California, Mitchell is seeing most interest on defense, and has the size and speed to be a good receiver with over 1,200 yards and 15 touchdowns the past two seasons. On defense, recorded 110 tackles as a junior, after tallying 84 as a sophomore and has 6 interceptions the past two seasons.
Final senior (9-3) stats: 100 tackles/1000 passing yards/4 TDs scored; 1 interception;
Mitchell reports a 2.54 core GPA and 810 SAT (new version)--retaking January 27
