| An All-Moore League pick in 2006, Parks had 157 tackles and 8 sacks, averaging 12 tackles a game, for Long Beach (Calif.) Poly. Was in double-digit tackles in 11 of 13 games. Had an interception, recovered five fumbles and blocked a punt.
Finished the 2005 season with 103 tackles, four sacks and four fumble recoveries in 10 games, missing a pair with a bruised rib. Also added27 tackles for loss and five pass deflections and an interception. An all-Moore League selection, Parks was named the team's outstanding linebacker and coaches award winner. An excellent student, has a 3.7 GPA and scored a 1320 on the SAT.
Parks' Comments:
"Im unique In every aspect of the game. Big and fast and a punishing hitter at all times. Excellent reads and great instinct to find the ball carrier. If I had a motto to go by it would be that "I'm a head hunter."
