| Brandon has a combination of size, speed and athleticism making him extremely difficult to cover. He's the type of athlete you can count on as a posession receiver, but he also has the speed to beat db's deep. Brandon plays on both sides of the ball and could potentially become a solid safety, but it appears wide-receiver is without a doubt his best position. |

| Had 32 receptions for 711 yards and 11 touchdowns as a receiver at Milpitas (Calif.) while spending part of the year at quarterback, where he threw six touchdown passes and ran in two more (250 yards rushing). Added 38 tackles and eight interceptions from his secondary spot. He benches 245-pounds and has a 34-inch vertical jump.
Final senior (9-4) stats: 81 receptions for 1,401 yards with 15 touchdowns/11 interceptions; 1,503 rushing yards and 18 touchdowns on 152 carries
Carswell achieved a 3.5 GPA on his latest report card which will upgrade his 2.1 core. He also reports a 1580 SAT (new version). "I was a little lazy my freshman and sophomore year and got behind, but my grades are fine now. I'm qualified."
Carswell: "I'm very versatile," Carswell said. "I run good routes and use my body well. I'm physical and I can be a big playmaker, but I also go across the middle well and am a good possession receiver. I do it all. I'd like to improve my overall speed, especially coming off the ball," Carswell said. "I want to improve my stamina too."
