A two-year starter for the Titans, Coopers enters his senior season poised to be one of the best linebackers in the Golden State.
In only nine games in 2005, Cooper posted 105 tackles, three interceptions (one for a touchdown) and six sacks. Was named all Bay Area first team on defense; As a sophomore Cooper started at defensive end and showed good speed off the edge.
Senior season (10-2) stats: 77 total tackles (27 solos, 50 assisted), six sacks and one interception. His team made it to the league finals but lost to Sacramento Grant 50-0.
Cooper reports a 2.6 GPA and a 1260 on the SAT (old version).
Cooper:"I like to hit and have all the intangibles," Cooper said. "I can move well and can go downfield. I'm a little bit crazy and just love to hit. My motto is bigger, stronger, faster. I want to do all the things I need to to get better. My main thing is speed though, I really need to work on my straight ahead running."
