| Talented two-way player who plays wide receiver on offense and linebacker on defense. He finished his junior year with 220 yards and two touchdowns on offense while recording 88 tackles and 12 sacks on defense.
Final senior season (5-5) stats: 40 tackles, nine sacks and three interceptions (one returned for a score). Offensively, he had four touchdowns receiving.
He reports a 2.5 core GPA and a 770 SAT (new version) and is waiting on his ACT results. "My GPA has already improved," Hicks said. "I'll probably have a 2.7 by the end of the year and I'm also taking a night class to help my grades."
Hicks: "My strengths are sideline-to-sideline speed and agility, but I'm still disappointed in my success as a blitzer."
