| Biography: |
| A talented multi-threat quarterback in Miami Dade County, Guyton is coming off a strong senior season. He passed for 1,646 yards and 13 touchdowns to just four interceptions. He rushed for 543 yards and four touchdowns. At receiver, he caught a touchdown and on special teams he returned two punts for TD's. On defense, he had three tackles playing corner and safety in very limited action in one game. In just six games as a junior, he passed for 849 yards and five touchdowns. Running the football, he had over 200 yards and three touchdowns (averaging over 8 per carry). Because he's a bit undersized to be a Div. 1 quarterback, many schools will recruit him as a wide receiver.
Guyton: "I just understand the game really well. I have good football smarts. I know when running lanes open up. I can beat teams running or throwing. I know how to handle the pressure in crucial situations." |
