| The 2006 Charlotte Observer Player of the Year, Chisholm transferred from West Charlotte to Independence after his junior season.
Chisholm rushed for 2,237 yards last season, despite missing two games with injury. Chisholm had 24 touchdowns on 257 carries and led West Charlotte to its first state championship game in 11 seasons.
