| Thomas is an active player on the defensive side of the ball. He runs well and is relentless. He is a good pass rusher and shows quick speed off the edge. Thomas uses his hands well and frees himself of blockers and finds the ball. Offensively, he shows good hands and speed as a tight end. Thomas just needs to fill out that frame once he gets to the next level. |

Two-way player for the Raiders who has been a varsity starter since his sophomore season; In 2006, at tight end, he had six catches for 129 yards on offense; From his defensive end position, Chase recorded 82 tackles, including 46 solos, 20 sacks and 17 tackles for a loss; He was a consensus All-Cobb County first-teamer at his defensive end position.
Partial senior (6-1) stats: Thomas has over 50 tackles and 10 sacks.
Thomas is an Honors student with a 3.8 gpa (4.0 scale) and a 1520 three-part SAT.
