| Rodgers runs with surprising power and has great leg drive. He is an effort player that gives it is all on each run and each play. You think you have him down but those legs of his don’t stop moving. Rodgers has good speed and quickness. He is a good inside runner and also has the speed to bounce things out wide. Rodgers shows good vision and excellent balance.

| 4A Region III Offensive Player of the Year as a senior...first team all-conference running back and defensive back as a senior...second team all-conference receiver as senior...second team all-state defensive back a senior...fourth team all-state running back as a senior...ran for 233 yds. and three TDs on 31 carries, blocked a PAT, recovered a fumble, and had six tackles on defense as the Mustangs won a state tile over Copperas Cove, 20-14 as a senior...set the state touchdown mark as a senior...ran for 2,592 yards and had 52 total touchdowns as a junior...second team all-state running back as a junior. |
