| Vereen's biggest question is what side of the ball will he end up at in college. Has the speed and ability to play running back, but may project to cornerback. |
| Biography: |
| Rushed for 1,638 yards on 169 carries, scoring 28 touchdowns during his 2005 junior season. Also tallied 52 receptions for 898 yards and 7 more touchdowns through the air. Defensively, had 43 tackles and three interceptions.
He reports a 3.8 GPA and is waiting on his SAT results.
Vereen: "I have good speed and great vision. I see the field and just react. I play with good instincts and just always try to get as many yards as possible. I still need to get stronger so I can break more tackles and improve my blocking skills."
In addition to football, Vereen also runs the 100m and 200m in track. His best 100m time is 10.61 seconds and his best 200m is 21.46. "I may do both sports," Vereen said. "It just depends on the school."
Both of his parents attended UNLV and his mom, Venita, played tennis, while his dad, Henry, was a wide receiver for the Rebels.
