| Productive on the college level, Ball projects as either a receiver or third-down back at the next level. Displays a lot of skills carrying the football, but must prove his worth as a pass-catcher and return specialist to have a true shot at the next level. |
| Biography: |
Four-year starter awarded various All-Conference honors since his
freshman campaign. Senior passing totals included 44.4%/1,820/20/14
when he also accumulated 122/354/2 on the ground. Posted a career-high
2,165 yards passing as a junior.
Pos:
Athletic college signal-caller whose NFL position is yet to be
defined. Quick carrying the ball displaying skill in the open field
and eluding defenders. Gets outside of the pocket and effortlessly
making the pass on the move. Possesses an explosive release and fires
the ball into targets.
Neg:
Lacks overall fundamentals as a passer; does not set up with proper
footwork, steps out of throws and misses open receivers. Does not find
a safety and forces the pass into coverage. |
