| Has tremendous size and may be even more effective as a safety, but loves to matchup in man against receivers. Tough to get past off the line, jams well and has great backpedal quickness. |
| Biography: |
| Started the past two seasons at DB factory Edison HS of Fresno, Calif. Some say he could be the best DB to ever come out of Edison, which has sent more DB's to college in the past decade than any high school in California. In 2006, had 65 tackles and four interceptions playing opposite all-state pick Courtney Viney. Was named to the 2007 U.S. Army National Combine all-combine team. He benches 250 pounds and power cleans 185.
Golden reports a 3.3 core GPA. He plans on taking his ACT in May.
Golden: “I am so pumped up all the time. I bring a lot of strength to the team. I’m really intense and it psyches out the other team. I tend to cause a lot of turnovers that way.
“I want to improve my jamming technique and staying square more. I need to plant myself a little better. In college everything is quicker and you have to learn how to change your feet and get up on that speed.”
