Taylor has excellent ball skills and cover skills and is the top ranked cornerback prospect in Louisiana.
(Sr.) He was a Class 4A All-State Selection and earned the state's top honor on the defensive side of the ball in his class. He finished the year with 89 tackles and five interceptions.
(Jr.) Taylor showed his versatility and athleticism by rushing for 584 yards on 63 carries and nine touchdowns, and picking up 10 receptions for 205 yards with two more scores. From his linebacker spot, Taylor had 44 tackles, with 16 for a loss, six sacks and four interceptions with two returned for scores.
