| Taylor has either great instincts for the position or is very well prepared. He reads the play so well and so quickly. Once that happens Taylor just goes and gets the ball carrier. His recognition of the play and then making the tackle is outstanding. Taylor fills the hole and fights off and defeats blockers. He's at his best when the play comes his way but he can also pursue and chase a play down. Taylor is effective in pass coverage. |

| Named the Defensive Player of the Year by the Myrtle Beach Sun News and all-region honoros as a sophomore. after he led the state in tackles for loss with 42. Finished his junior year with 120 tackles despite playing with a broken arm. |
