| A tough, rugged, bruising defensive tackle - but also supremely athletic for a man his size. Uses his natural strengh and effort to overwhelm opponents. Could also play on the offensive line because of his athleticism. Because he's so dominant at his current level, Koehler hasn't really worked on perfecting technique. Once his technique and repertoire of moves matches his natural ability, he will be unstoppable. |
| Biography: |
| Solomon Koehler was a 2006 2nd Team OIA Red East selection. Also named Defensive MVP of the 2006 All-Poly camp. Hawaii Strongest Teen Strong Man 4th Place Overall in 2006. PIAA 2007 Top Defensive Lineman award; benches 435 pounds, squats 550 and has a 39-inch vertical jump
Koehler professes not to know his core GPA, but says he scored an 860 two-part SAT, which he is retaking on Jan. 26.
Koehler: "I don't get pushed back on double teams and can hold down the line well. I play really aggressively and am tough. I play to represent my family and my school and that's important to me.
"I still need to work on my overall technique. All the little things like my hands, my feet...that's what I'm working on."
