| Bryant has good size and even better speed and quickness. He is a rock solid cover guy that has a good burst and make up speed. Bryant shows a great break on the ball and is a physical corner. In fact he is very good in run support. |
| Biography: |
Bryant had 24 solo and four assisted tackles in the 2007 season. He had two fumble recoveries, eight pass breakups, and one caused fumble.
On special tems the senior returned 14 kicks for 260 yards with a 46 yard long (18.6 yard average), 13 punts for 252 yards with an 86 yard long and one touchdown (19.4 yad average). He also caught two passes for 69 yards with a forty yard long and one touchdown.
2007 Awards: All Big Bend Player First Team, USA Today First Team All-USA, #13 on Press Register (Mobile) Super Southeast 120, AJC Super Southern 100
One of the state's top defensive back prospects, Bryant has big time cover skills. The coaches at Lincoln say he has a chance to be better than all the DBs who have played there over the years -- including Sam Matison, Antonio Cromartie, and Pat Watkins; Bryant finished his junior season with 47 tackles and 3 interceptions. He also has a 42-inch vertical jump.
Bryant is also being recruited for track. He runs the 110-meter hurdles (best time of 14.6 seconds) and 300-meter hurdles (38.02). "I'll probably try to do both sports in college," he said.
Bryant: "I have good footwork and stay with my man. I can come up and jam and play in space. I do it all. I don't do a lot of talking. I just get the job done. I play very hard and physical, but I want to improve my tackling technique. I also want to work on staying low. I need to get stronger (benches 235 pounds)."
