| As a junior last year at Aquinas HS, Amajoyi rushed for 1,592 yards (9.2 yard average) and had 25 touchdowns (including one for 92 yards). Also had 80 tackles, 2.5 sacks and three interceptions on defense. Two-way star who could play either side of the ball at the next level.
Final senior (9-4) stats: Amajoyi is credited with 2,580 rushing yards, seven catches, 135 receiving yards and 32 touchdowns.
Amajoyi reports a 3.9 core GPA and a 2000 SAT.
Amajoyi: "Every school is recruiting me for running back, expect for the Washington Huskies, who want me at linebacker. I feel more comfortable at running back, but I don't mind linebacker," Amajoyi said. "I've just played running back more consistently over the last few years."
