| As a junior, Thornton ran for 985 yards and nine touchdowns on 145 carries, while spliitting carries with Salvadore Battles. The two form one of the most talented duo's in the "Buckeye State".
Thornton earned All-City honors as a freshman and again as a sophomore.
Thornton: "Playing with Sal (Battles) is nice cause nobody can focus on just one of us. They have to plan for both of us."
Thornton will play his senior year at Youngstown East, which will merge the Rayen and Wilson districts together. |
