| Gordon is a tough runner, impressive given his size. He's got excellent vision, seeing holes quickly and he knows how, and when, to cutback. He has a good ability to change his direction on a dime and he's got good breakaway speed. His size isn't the biggest, but he plays tough. He also delivers big hits from the secondary. Not easy to bring down, and definitely plays bigger than he is. |

| Rushed for 973 yards on 139 carries and scored 12 touchdowns while adding 11 receptions for 251 yards and three touchdowns for San Diego (Calif.) Francis Parker High, helping lead them to the CIF San Diego Division V title. Added 50 tackles, five interceptions and a sack from his secondary position. |
