| He is a big play back with big play potential. Bass has breakaway speed and a very good burst. He hits the hole hard and quickly. Bass has super vision and balance. He also shows excellent change of direction and super hips. At times, Bass runs with power but he uses his speed and quickness more and is deadly in the open field. If things didn’t work out at running back, Bass shows great skills for the cornerback position. |

| Earned First Team All-CIF honors and all-state underclass honors after rushing for 2,351 yards on 294 carries and scoring 36 touchdowns during his junior year for Corona (Calif.) Centennial. He benches 325 pounds, squats 445 and power cleans 295.
Rushed for 2,137 yards on 255 carries (8.38 yards a carry) as a sophomore in 2005 for Centennial. Scored 34 touchdowns.
Bass reports a 2.6 core GPA and says he took the SAT on Oct. 6.
Bass: “My biggest strength is my vision. I am great in the open field. I look at the entire field, not just straight in front of me and I can quickly adjust.
“I need to work on my pass blocking. I’m not bad, but I want to be ready for the next level and right now I don’t think I am.”
