| Biography: |
| Cody Bruns caught 109 passes (tops in the nation) for a state-record 1,891 receiving yards in 2006, and hauled in 28 TD receptions; benches 260 pounds and squats 340.
Named Mid-Valley League co-offensive player of the year and Seattle Times all-state first-team, AP class 2A first-team all-state, Tacoma News Tribune all-state and Tri-City Herald all-area.
As a sophomore, Bruns caught 98 passes for 1,647 yards and 23 touchdowns -- despite missing two games due with an injury.
Partial senior (9-0) stats: 1000+ yards receiving and 19 touchdowns.
Bruns reports a 3.6 core GPA and a 1480 SAT.
Bruns: "I run crisp routes and have good body control. I can go up and catch the rock. That's my objective. I feel like I'm a technician on the field.
"Every receiver wants to improve their route-running because you never feel it's good enough. But I also want to work on my strength and be more physical."
