| Moore is an extremely competitive player who is willing to do whatever necessary to move the chains. Clayton has the ability to beat teams with his feet as well as his more than adequate arm. He looks at home in the pocket, but he enjoys pulling the ball down and making plays when the opportunity arises. |

Clayton Moore is one of the top junior signal callers in the south, passing for over 3,046 yards, 840 rushing yards and 40 total TDs (13 interceptions); he his team (12-3) to the 3A State title as a junior; Moore says he can bench 240 pounds, squat 350 and has a 28-inch vertical jump.
Moore reports a 2.8 core GPA and a 17 ACT, which he plans to retake.
Moore: "I have the ability to lead my team and am a coach on the field. I can move the chains when they need to move. I have a pretty strong arm and good accuracy, but I want to improve my arm strength.
"I really like being physical, which I know sounds strange coming from a quarterback. But when I run, I like to make it worthwhile. Even if I take the worse end of the licking, at least I showed them I'm not afraid to get hit.
"I want to get faster. I also want to improve my footwork in the pocket."
