| Biography: |
A two time junior college All-American both his freshman and sophomore years. First team selection all conference both seasons.
QUOTABLE:
"My freshman year was actually better than my sophomore year, but my sophomore year I had 115 tackles, I was in on just about every play," said Mixon. "And then I had six interceptions, four sacks, three kickoff returns for touchdowns, and I had like 17 bat downs...I caused four fumbles and I had three fumble recoveries.
"But my freshman year was way better, I had about 120-some tackles and eight interceptions, a couple of interception returns for touchdowns. I didn't have any interception returns for touchdowns this year, they kind of stopped throwing at me."
"In two years of playing for Grossmont, I never had a touchdown scored on me."
