Jack Sula finished his junior season with 1840 yards rushing for 20 touchdowns. He also caught four touchdowns for 350 yards. Defensively, he had 42 tackles, five sacks and three interceptions; Sula says he benches 275 pounds, squats 515 and has a 35.5-inch vertical jump. He ran a 9.2 L-drill at the USC camp.
Partial senior (11-2) stats: 1500+ rushing yards and 23 touchdowns while catching nearly 300 yards in passes for five more scores; 80 tackles, three sacks and one interception.
Sula reports a 3.8 core GPA and a 930 two-part SAT, which he plans to retake. "I'll take the test as much as I can," he said. "The ACT too. I'm not satisfied with my score."
>Sula: "I'm a real physical guy and like contact. I'm real smart on both sides of the ball and I can do it all. If it were up to me, I'd never get off the field. As a runner, I'm a downhill guy with good vision.
"I want to improve my breakaway speed and have quicker cuts and footwork."
