| As a senior, Rodgers rushed for 2,319 yards on 267 carries and scored 18 touchdowns, including a 94-yarder. Averaged 210 yards a game, 8.69 yards a carry and also chipped in 9 catches for 96 yards. Was an all-CIF First Team pick and earned his second Offensive Player of the Year honor in the Bay League. Also selected Third Team All-State as a senior.
During his 2005 junior year, Rodgers rushed for 2,236 yards at Lawndale (Calif.) Leuzinger and scored 31 touchdowns to earn all-CIF First Team and Offensive Player of the Year honors in the Bay League.
Older brother, Lance Broadus, is a defensive end at Washington State. |
