Biography:
Young rushed for 3344 yards and 37 touchdowns as a junior. He set an all-time rushing record in the Class A title game for most yardage with a 45 carry, 292-yard, four touchdown performance against Serra Catholic.

Following his junior season, Young now has 6235 career rushing yards.

As a sophomore, Young was named first-team All-State by the Associated Press.
