| excellent makeup speed, good hands in traffic, and strong hands. He plays much bigger than his listed weight of 205 pounds, but seeing him in person it is about right. Manning is very productive and plays all three linebacker positions for one of the top teams in the state of North Carolina. Overall, a great athlete who is not too stiff and plays well in space. Tremendous burst to the ball, and sifts through gaps as well as anybody. |

| Manning led Scotland's defense in 2006 with 130 tackles, three interceptions and three fumble recoveries; he says he can bench 300 pounds, squat 440 and has a 33-inch vertical jump.
Manning: "I'm a lot quicker than my 40 time (reports a 4.6). I'm a side-to-side runner and try to be aggressive most of the time. I'm also really physical.
"I still want to improve my tackling technique and bulk up. I think by gaining weight I'd be able to be a bigger presence on the field."
