| Biography: |
| Kelly Johnson struggled with elbow problems in 2006 before finally having Tommy John surgery in June. With Marcus Giles now in San Diego, the Braves believe Johnson is the main candidate to take over at second base. He's worked with former Atlanta second baseman Glenn Hubbard for most of the winter, and so far the results have been promising. So Johnson is the favorite to win the job over Martin Prado. |
