| As a junior Hales was an all-district selection. Rushed for 893 yards on 130 carries, scoring 10 times. Receiving he had 20 catches for 297 yards and three touchdowns. Punt returns he had 306 yards and two touchdowns on just 9 returns, 34 yard average. He also had 294 yards on kickoff returns on 13 returns, he had a long returns of 59 yards.
Hales is a true playmaker in every sense of the word scoring 10 times running the ball, three times on catches, and twice on punt returns.
