Rushed for 808 yards and 12 touchdowns and caught 27 balls for 345 yards and three touchdowns for Chino (Calif.) Don Lugo in '06. Added 24 tackles. Led his team in scoring (84 pts.) last season. Returned 12 kickoffs for 341 yards.
Partial senior (5-3) stats: 600+ yards receiving and 10 touchdowns.
Pickens reports a 2.6 core GPA and is retaking retaking his SAT on Nov. 3.
Pickens: "My speed is my biggest strength," said Pickens, who benches 245 pounds, squats 305 and power cleans 190. "I'm real good at duping people. I have good vision and I can spot the holes and get the extra yards. I need to get better on my tackling. I'm trying to speed up my reaction time. I like playing wide receiver and that's what all the schools are recruiting me for. I'm a playmaker and I run good routes. I just love making the big play.
