Schell did not play his junior season due to transfer rules, but will start at offensive guard this season.
Schell reportedly deadlifts 605 pounds, squats 650 pounds and bench presses 400 pounds. He holds a national bench press record at power lifting camp in Carteret, N.J., for the 16-19 year old age bracket. His Head Coach Bill Walsh says that he can do well over 30 reps at 225 pounds on the bench. He can also dunk a basketball. |
