| Neighbors is a safety that supports the run and plays the pass very well. He has good range and instincts. He takes good angles in run support and shows excellent closing speed and fundamentals when it comes to tackling. He does a nice job of reading the quarterback's eyes and breaking on the ball in coverage. He covers a lot of ground and he will come up and hit you. Neighbors also shows good hands and seems to always be around the ball. |

Neighbors had 62 tackles his senior season and was given Honorable Mention ASWA All-State at Defensive Back. The senior also represented Alabama in the MS AL All-Star Game. Press Register's Elite 18.
The Huntsville Times awarded Neighbors Super Team All-Metro (All Classes) and 5A-6A First Team Honors at defensive back.
Junior: Neighbors recorded 95 tackles and four interceptions.
Awards: Voted 1st Team Huntsville Times All-Metro, 1st Team All-Region and 1st Team All-City defensive back. He was also voted Permanent Team Captain by his teammates.
Soph: Recorded 51 tackles and six interceptions. Returned kicks and participated on special teams. Voted 1st Team All-City, Honorable Mention All-Region and Huntsville Times All-Metro.
Football family: Billy Neighbors, grandather, inducted to College Football Hall of Fame (2004 University of Alabama) and played 11 seasons in the NFL. Wes Neighbors, father, also played at the University of Alabama and drafted in the NFL. |
