First Team All-State as a senior.
A true three-sport star and one of the state's top sprinters, averaged 31 yards a catch as a junior, caught 45 balls for 1435 yards and 16 touchdowns, earning Second Team 6A All-State honors and 1st team all PIL as a wide receiver.
As a sophomore, Polk was promoted to varsity for the 2005 state playoffs, and helped his team to reach the State Championship playoff game. Polk's Cardinals ended up second, and he led all receivers
with 77 yards. Polk also earned five touchdowns in the 2005 playoffs with over 500 yards in 4 games.
Ran a 4.46 40 and had a 39.3-inch vertical jump at a spring combine, getting named to that All-Combine team.
As a junior with his lock-down defense and speed, Polk helped the Cardinals win
the PIL basketball championship in 2007. He is also the 2007 defending 100 meter district champion from the PIL, clocking in at 10.8 at the 2007 State Track meet. Polk was the 100 & 200 meter PIL champion as a sophomore. In 2006, Polk won first place in 100m, 200m, 4x100 relay and long jump at the Oregon State Junior Olympics track meet. |
