| Biography: |
| Murphy finished his junior season with 30 receptions for 530 yards and eight touchdowns. Murphy says he can bench 260 pounds and squats 425. He has a 33-inch vertical jump as well.
Murphy reports a 3.1 core GPA and a 20 ACT, which he is retaking and taking prep classes. "I need a 24 or 25 on my ACT for Stanford," Murphy said. "I got the official offer letter from them and everything, but they said that if I decided to go there that I'd have to get my grades up. I might take a few AP classes next year to boost my GPA a bit."
Murphy: "I can run the fade and go up and get the ball well. I have a good height advantage over most guys and can go across the middle too. I'm not afraid to be physical.
"I still want to improve my quickness, especially my side-to-side movement. I run a 4.7 40, which I'd like to get down as well."
