| Jones has great feet and moves well for a big man, both north-south as well as laterally. Jones is quick of the ball, shows nice agility and bend. He can block well on the move and also be a dominating drive blocker. In pass pro Jones does a nice job of using his feet to stay in front of the defender and shows nice ability to move side to side. He could play both guard or tackle at the next level. |
| Biography: |
Jones received many awards for his senior season. He was a Division II AA Mr. Football Lineman Finalist. He was All Mid-State from The Tennessean. West Tennessee Coaches All Region team. Jones was TSWA All-State First Team for his Divion II region. The lineman was also honored by inclusion in the Army All-American Bowl in San Antonio, AJC Super Southern 100 OL, Press Register Super Southeast 120 #15.
Jones missed half of his junior season due to a torn labrum in his shoulder. His surgery was performed by Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, (Ala.), and Jones has fully recovered.
