Walters was named All-County (Shelby), ASWA All-State First Team LB. The senior recorded 117 tackles, 42 solo, six tackles for a loss, two pass break-ups, and a quarterback pressure.
Walters led Briarwood on defense in 2006. He managed a fumble return, forced fumble as well as one interception.
ASWA First Team 5A All-State Linebacker for his senior season and The Birmingham News honored Walters with Super All-Metro LB (AISA, 1A-6A combined first team) |
