| Hawkinson is a big framed tight end who brings a healthy mix of abilities to the table. he is an excellent blocker, but also shows some superior pass receiving skills. He is one of the most well rounded tight ends in the country. |
| Biography: |
Hawkinson was honored with the Top 11 All-State Players by the KFBCA (Coaches) and 5A All-State Tight End in his senior season. He was also awarded League Offensive MVP.
Hawkinson is a two-sport star playing tight end for the football squad and center for his high school basketball team. He hauled in 24 catches last (junior) year for 363 yards and nine scores. In basketball, Hawkinson averaged 11.5 points per game.
The junior was given All-Class 5A All State Topeka Capital-Journal Honorble Mention.
