| Guy flies off the line of scrimmage and has good lateral range. His speed off the edge makes him a difficult matchup for tackles. Changes directions well and disengages from his blockers quickly. |
| Biography: |
| Lawrence Guy had 90 tackles and 11 sacks during his 2006 junior season, earning all-state honors for Las Vegas (Nev.) Western.
Final senior (8-3) stats: 120 tackles with over 60 solos and an impressive 20 sacks.
Guy reports a 2.7 core GPA and took the SAT on Dec. 1. He's retaking his ACT.
Guy: "I'm a great pass rusher. I come off the edge fast and can get to the quarterback. I can just shut down everything on the outside. It's hard to get around me and I don't let the tight end get down the field.
"I still want to get even faster because speed is the key in college."
