Kevin Young is a defensive end that is just starting to come in to his potential. He has a great frame and does a tremendous job of rushing the passer. He pursues well down the line against the run and does not give up on plays.


Biography:
Class of 2009 Prospect:

Stats: Freshman Season:
Offense: Led the team with over 1,000 yds rushing as starting tailback; ten rushing touchdowns and two receiving touchdowns; over 500 yards in kick-off and punt returns.

Defense: Led the team with 60 tackles as the starting outside linebacker; two interceptions and three sacks; named one of the top players in Olathe, Kansas.

Sophomore Season:
Offense: Started sophomore, JV, and backup varsity tight end; scored five touchdowns and over 500 yards receiving as a tight end; started varsity special teams and earned varsity letter.

Defense: Started sophomore, JV, and backup varsity defensive end; five sacks between sophomore and JV squads; over 80 tackles between all three levels.

Holds the Olathe North weightlifting record for the "Clean Jerk" in the 200lb weight class.
