| One of the top athletes in the state of Texas, Bushell transferred to DeSoto from Miami (Fla.) Pace HS. As a running back at Pace, Adrian Bushell had around 1,500 all-purpose yards, 1,100 rushing and 400 receiving, but will play running back, wide receiver and cornerback at DeSoto as a senior.
Partial senior (11-3) stats: 51 tackles; approx 500 yards rushing and 10 touchdowns; roughly 300 yards receiving.
Bushell reports a 2.9 core GPA and an 820 SAT. He is taking the ACT on Dec. 8.
Bushell has 400 yards receiving and seven touchdowns. Defensively, he has 20 tackles and two interceptions.

Bushell: "I'm real physical and love playing offense and defense. On offense I'm very elusive and can make something out of nothing. I still want to improve my strength (benches 250 pounds, squats 315) and my coverage. I'm working on doing lots of drills to improve my technique."
