As a senior, Cortese made 88 tackles and sacked the quarterback four times, but also played five games at running back. During that time he had 556 yards rushing, 146 yards receiving and scored eight touchdowns on his way to first-team All-County, third-team All-Region and third-team All-State honors.
As a junior, Cortese made 123 tackles and sacked the quarterback five times on his way to first-team All-County honors.
Cortese claims a max bench of 280 pounds and a max squat of 500 pounds. |
