Was an all-state sophomore selection in 2006. Had 141 tackles and two sacks plus a fumble recovery during the year. Earned all-L.A. City and all-Marine League honors, and was all-Area during the 2006 season, in which San Pedro (Calif.) was the City Section Runner-Up; named a 2007 Preseason Junior All-American.

Franco: "I have good quickness. I think I also have good instincts. I can see the whole field well and I'm always around the ball. I'm always making the play. I'm also hard-hitting and smart.
"I'd like to improve on playing outside and playing in space. I want to improve my technique and breakaway speed at fullback too."
