Biography:
2006: Played in nine games, missing four because of a knee injury sustained Sept. 9 against Texas State ... Tried to play with the injury, but finally had arthroscopic surgery on Oct. 9 ... Returned vs. Vanderbilt and looked as if he’d never been away ... Had a dominating performance against the Commodores, rushing 20 times for 132 yards and one TD and hauling in eight balls for 114 yards. Team's leading rusher with 673 yards and three touchdowns ... Would have led the nation in punt returns with a 22.6-yard average but did not play in enough games to qualify officially.

2005: Started all 11 games ... Led the team in rushing (1,045 yards), all-purpose yardage (180.2 yards per game), and pass receptions (46) ... Ranked fifth in the nation in all-purpose yardage ... Led the SEC in punt return average (16.9) and was fifth in the nation ... Garnered second-team Sophomore All-America honors and first-team All-SEC laurels (see list above) ... Had a 51-yard run vs. Louisville that is the longest rushing play in Governor’s Cup history.

2004: Played in nine games, starting the last three ... Led the team’s running backs in rushing with 265 yards and a 5.0-yard average per carry, solid numbers when one considers that he saw limited action early in the season as he recovered from a knee injury ... Came on strong in the final five games of the campaign.

C. … Two-time first-team all-state honoree … Totaled 90 touchdowns in his career via rushing, pass receiving, kick returns, and defense … Carried 202 times for 1,501 yards and 33 touchdowns as a senior, had more than 500 receiving yards and three touchdowns … Had a total of 44 touchdowns his senior season, including rushing, receiving, special teams and one interception return for a TD … Also started at linebacker as a junior and played there in special situations during his senior year … Rushed for 1,650 yards and 39 touchdowns as a junior … Had seven consecutive games with at least one punt return or kickoff return for a touchdown … Led team to the Class AAAA (largest classification) state playoffs all three of his seasons on the varsity, including 11-2 marks as a junior and senior … Three-year choice on the all-conference team … Anderson Touchdown Club Area Player of the Year as a junior and senior … Won the Touchdown Club’s Area Player of the Week honor 19 times during his career … The Anderson Independent Mail Area Player of the Year as a junior and senior.
