| During his senior season at Morro Bay (Calif.), Budd was named the Los Padres League MVP after leading the league in passing, rushing, scoring, yards per punt, total offense, PATs and defensively, interceptions. Also named the San Luis Obispo County Player of the Year and CIF-SS Northwest Division Co-Player of the Year.
Through 12 games, Budd had 3,028 yards in total offense, going 90-for-162 for 1,668 yards passing with 16 touchdown passes and only one pick. Rushed for 1,360 yards on 189 carries and 22 touchdowns, averaging 113 yards a game.
Defensively, had nine interceptions for 179 yards and one for a score with 18 tackles.
Kicked seven field goals, a long of 39, and 44 PATs and had 69 kickoffs for 3,702 yards and 24 touchbacks. Had 30 punts for 1,208 yards, an average of 40.27.
During his 2006 junior season, Threw for 1,110 yards and 11 touchdowns while rushing for 634 yards on 135 carries and scored 12 touchdowns. Was 72-for-150 passing. Had four interceptions from his defensive back spot and kicked four field goals, 12 PATs and 34 punts. Was named Los Padres League All-Purpose Player of the Year, and all-CIF Northwest Division.
As a sophomore, had seven interceptions from the secondary and was an all-Los Padres League pick. |
