| As a junior was a First Team all-Serra League pick, a Second Team all-San Gabriel Valley selection and was named Team Back of the Year. Had 32 tackles, 19 breakups and three interceptions in 2007.
Earned second team all-Serra League honors as a sophomore, with 36 tackles, five deflections and a sack in 2006 for La Puente (Calif.) Bishop Amat.
Father, Dennis, played defensive back at UCLA and in the NFL for the Raiders and Jets.
