| Shoop has a shoulder high set-up and a nice, quick, compact release. He has an above average arm and throws a consistent spiral. He is very accurate and can throw all the passes. Not a dual-threat QB, but is still very mobile. Very poised in the pocket. Threw a lot of interceptions, so he must improve on his decision making abilities. |

As a junior, Shoop threw for 2585 yards, 28 touchdowns and 16 interceptions. He broke school records for passing yards and passing touchdowns in a game with a 376-yard, six touchdown performance against Lewisburg. He was voted Offensive Back of the Year for the Central Susquehanna Conference by the coaches and also earned first-team All-Conference honors.
Shoop started five games as a sophomore, throwing for 754 yards, four touchdowns and four interceptions. |
