| Askew flies around the field from sideline to sideline. He really uses his speed to his advantage. He is a tremendous hitter and he finishes his tackles. Askew is also a great lead blocker as a fullback. He is an outstanding pass rusher at linebacker. Bob Lichtenfels/Scout.com |

Askew recorded 130 tackles in his senior season, 18 for a loss of yardage, 12 sacks and three interceptions. He was named First Team 3A All-State and Parade All-American.
As a junior, Askew recorded 120 tackles, 14 sacks and 24 tackles for a loss.
